I tend to play the neck with a coil tap for clean also with a little OD grit, but then move to the bridge in full humbucker for the heavier grittiness. I do sometimes sit in position 2 utilizing the bridge HM and neck coil tap with a fair amount of grit. I don't usually touch the mini toggles.
I just noticed that the latches do have pass throughs for very small locks. I'm not sure that it would take a whole lot to just break them by force.
My biggest complaint about the case so far is that my PRS leather strap doesn't really fit in either compartment. I mean, I can get it in there...
I have one guitar in standard E, and one in Eb for this very reason. We have several songs in Eb tunings to be nice with the vocalist.
But the above suggestions are good if you don't have a second guitar.
Yeah, I bought just cleaner, and it looks like it resolved it. I've used cleaner for scratchy pots before, but I really didn't think that a dirty pot would have no scratchiness and have volume coming through when rolled all of the way off. Now I know. lol

They are asking me to hit it with contact cleaner, which makes sense. I need to go buy some and see if that helps, but I'd be really surprised if it's dirty after 3 months of ownership.
Anyone else have issues with pots this fast?
I'm a little disappointed. Last night during practice, I rolled the volume off on the guitar and sound was still coming through. I tried to roll it off again thinking that maybe I just didn't roll it back to 0, but the sound crackled in and out. All night long I was having to mess with it. The...
OK so the case finally arrived. The D2 model for sure fits the CU 24-08 very well. I have to kind of push the lower bout into the case because it is very snug. No perceived movement of the guitar inside the case with the lid closed.
As for it not having locks, I have a locking ATA case that my...
Just make sure that you use a flat plate for the experiment, because flat things make the best shadows. Now I didn't check on the science behind that, but it seems like common sense.
