Wow, that's a beauty! My favorite PRS color too! Lucky you, enjoy!

Have you ever bought an artist signature guitar mostly because you like the artist?

I don't recall ever owning a signature guitar, but I currently own a signature bass: Warwick P-Nut II. I do love his tone and style, but the tone I like is actually a Streamer Stage II (which I also own, and yes, partly because of him). However, I did not purchase these basses because P-Nut...

    PRS guitarist?

Tim Mahoney of 311 for me. He's the one who got me interested in PRS years ago, and still my favorite (same could be said for P-Nut and Warwick, and the reason I own a Streamer Stage II and a P-Nut II Sig model)

    Custom 24 vs 22 vs 408

My vote is for the 408. It's what I have, and the one I wanted above all other PRS's. As many have said, it is incredibly versatile. It does have its own unique voicing, but that is what I loved about it. It's not designed to sound like others (it's not meant to copy a Les Paul, Strat, Tele...

    PSA sale

I had ordered a Studio hardtail, but guilt and common sense prevailed, so I cancelled the order. Still bummed, as it's my next favorite model after the 408, but there will be other opportunities down the road. for a used model. for probably the same price.

You sold your korina McCarty? Please tell me why...

While there could be some who have sold because they didn't like the sound/feel/something else (which are all subjective), it may not always be a bad reason to sell. Best example I can think of: had a McKorina, loved said McKorina, had opportunity to purchase a Private Stock (or some other...

Best Place to Buy a New PRS in Pennsylvania

Another big thumbs up for NE Music Center! I used to live about 15 minutes from there for the last few years until I relocated a few months ago, and it was one of my favorite guitar shops. Their old shop was a tiny little place, and I was shocked when I went by out of curiosity and saw a bunch...

PRS ONLY? What else do you play?

My PRS is still pretty new, but I also have a Les Paul Studio Deluxe which I have picked up once or twice (though I'm trying to sell it to either grab another PRS. or a nice Strat for a completely different tone). I'm more of a bassist though, and have a Warwick Streamer Stage II and Warwick...

    The Crew

Mighty fine crew you've got there! Definitely the right kind of company to keep.

    Show off your 408 thread

I know I just posted mine in a NGD thread not too long ago, but figured I'd add it to this thread as well. I'm like a proud father, and always excited to show it off!

NGD: stamped serial number and squabbins

That is lovely! I'm a sucker for a rosewood neck too

How long between getting your First PRS to your Second?

I forget exactly when I bought my SE Custom 22, but it was 5-6 years ago. I bought a CE last year which lasted a few days, so technically it was about 5 years I'd say. however, I never really used the CE so I dont really count it. I got my 408 yesterday, so I'll go with closer to 6 years.

    New member with a NGD!

I do recall playing several back to back last year, and being surprised at both how similar thee profiles were and how relatively thick the pattern thin was. I just had myself convinced that it was pattern thin or nothing, thinking it would be the largest I could tolerate. Yup, I was wrong.

First time posting here, but wanted to show off my new (to me) 408 MT goldtop! This isn't my first PRS technically. I had an SE Custom 22 many years ago, and a CE24 for a few days last year (was not in very good condition, and I just didn't get on with it, so I sold it pretty quickly). I've...
