That looks really nice. I'd like to find locking tuners that look just like that and fits without drilling. Once you cut, you can't go back without some tomfoolery. That looks so good I might take back that last remark.:)
Not using a FRFR setup with a modeler limits what you can do. You can't use IRs with a non FRFR. Are you using a clean flat SS amp and PA speakers? That might work with IRs and modeling as that would be functionally same an FRFR setup.
Since I've transitioned to modelers my needs are for a flat range/response (FRFR) SS audio system, be it amp or digital audio interface to a computer. I've taken a journey through about 8 different primetime modelers and settled on an L6 Helix which L6 also has a VST plugin for DAWs or VST Hosts...
I have push-push pots on my Fender American Elite Strat, same as on the newer Ultra and do admit that they are much easier to use. I had a Fender (Mexican) Deluxe Roadhouse Strat which also had a push-push but the quality of the part was not the same. It was an interesting guitar, which I liked...
