So is the middle position on the toggle just the middle pickup, or both neck and bridge? Basically, can you have just the middle pickup on in this configuration?

If we're talking only about 2 HB guitars, then toggle.

I saw that one, too. That thing is in rough shape. The "refin" is only the start. Personally, I don't think it's worth it at $939 even as a restoration project. If it had the Fralins, maybe, but not for the HSH configuration.

I still have my EG3 (with the 3 Fralin Dominos) -- it's such a great guitar.

How did you like it? Did it affect the stock sound in the "off" position at all?

At full price, it would be the SE all day for me. But when I see a used Core SSs listed at <=$1700 or so, I have a harder time with the SE value proposition, even when the use SEs have come down to <$600...

I've only played the ML Sound Ark plugin, which is amazing, so that's my vote. :)
