In praise of my Paul's Guitar...

Hey Wolfhound... My Strat and my PG are for all practical purposes identical in terms of balance on the knee. Having said that, they are nearly identical in weight too... 6 lb. 11 oz. and 7 lb. 1 oz. respectively. So in your case, you might want to take the weight into consideration. It's not...

In praise of my Paul's Guitar...

It's coming up on a year since I purchased my first PRS - a 2020 Paul's Guitar. Ordered it on Dec. 2, 2020. I'm no pro, but I'm not exactly a rookie either. I'm 70 years old, and I've been playing the guitar since I was 9 or 10. I've owned too many guitars to remember over the years, and I...

Yesterday. (My dyslexia had the year as 2012 instead of 2021... fixed now!) The river is kinda low right now... it's been a very dry summer so far!

PRS Hollowbody II SE supposed to flex this much?

Mine has a lot of flex. I think it's normal for this guitar. I was concerned when I first got mine because I could flex it and get a creaking sound at the neck joint. Turned out that it's just sound of the neck pickup ring rubbing on the bottom of the fretboard. Nothing to worry about as far as...

    Humming sound ... help please

That right there indicates the guitar wiring is good. The solution is to turn the volume knob on the guitar all the way down when you aren't playing. Ever watch guitar or amp demos on You Tube? You see guys doing that all the time... That's because it's normal.

Can't decide Les Paul R8 vs PRS DGT

Well I didn't say my R8 doesn't stay in tune. It stays in tune reasonably well. I can pick up the R8 after a couple of days and it sounds in tune. But if I turn on the Peterson Strobo Stomp, I see it's off a few cents. My PRS, on the other hand, is dead nuts on after the same amount of time. The...

Can't decide Les Paul R8 vs PRS DGT

I will always own a Les Paul. It's iconic. Arguably the guitar and the sound of the soundtrack of my life. Fortunately, for me at least, I can afford to own more than one guitar. So I also own a PRS. My PRS sounds just as good, and actually plays better (easier) than my Les Paul. It also stays...

We have a local Elk herd numbering approximately 200. I got this one with a 500mm lens and a 1.4x teleconverter for an effective focal length of 700mm.

Forum admin: Take my money — please!

Sure. You can say the same thing about any business... Even PRS Guitars. But in your OP you said "Image hosting sites are all scams with terrible privacy policies and nonexistent property protections." That is simply not true. The 2 sites that I mentioned are not scams, have very good privacy...
