Hey everyone, I'm picking up a gorgeous McCarty 594 10 Top tomorrow. I'm just curious how you find the new vintage style tuners on them. I always prefer locking tuners so I'm curious what your experiences have been on these.

I waited six months for my Silver Sky, 13 months for my Custom 24, and 4 months for my A55E. I'm getting very used to waiting for a PRS. But every single one of them was worth the wait. Oh and I'm also currently waiting for my McCarty to be worked on by the PTC.

The serial number on the headstock matches with a 1996 guitar. The serial number on the cover matches to a 1998 guitar. You sure it's a 2006 and not a 1996?

Do you have the hang tag? I believe the hang tag will indicate if its a 10 top, Artist grade, or wood library top. If none of that information is present on the hang tag I would assume its a "regular top". The only way to be 100% sure is to check with PTC. They would be able to tell you for...
