Regarding the bridge position, is anyone familiar with both these pickups that can offer info about how similar or different they might be? Is one hotter/compressed, are they EQed similarly etc. Might be an obscure question so thanks for any input.

Split, It sounds more like a tele mid position. But if you simply flip the pickups still in the mounting rings 180*, it sounds more like a strat. It also improves the split tone of the bridge alone.
I flipped both pups 180. Now I have better single coil tone and mid position sounds like a Strat. No other mods needed. Thanks prs for leaving enough lead wire to reverse.
