I see a few listed mainly in the 600 to 800 range. I have found one down as low as $400, but not sure of the condition based on the photos. I saw a review saying these were almost $1000 when new, is that true?

How do they match up against one of he G brands P90 offerings, that sell used in the $800 to $1000 range? Part of me just wants a guitar that sounds good, but I can play hard, and if I ding it up I would not be crushed.

That kinda says it all. I was looking for a cheap fun P90 type guitar and saw these as something fun to play around with. Are they any good?

Do not see th colors as that different to be honest. Different shades of basic colors guitars have basically always been avaible in. Overall, the red and blue will likely sell out first. I think green will be the slowest mover, but that may just be my personal preferences showing though.

How do the pickups on Paul's guitar compair to 59/09's?

I want more soapbars in general. Still think the S2 Thinline McCarty would be a brilliant guitar to bring these pickups back into the US regular production line.

I think he does. I did like the suggestion of finding on with 59/09's to I sure it is totally different. I still struggle with the idea of how much the guitar vs. The pickups contribute to overall sound. I looked at the neck specs, and pattern regular vs. Pattern thin seems so miniscule...

I have been playing for 3 1/2 years. I have purchased 8 guitars already, and currently own 5. I may have a problem. Last one arrived last week, and I spent way to much $$$ on it.

Been done for two months. The third hand is really useful for weird cords.
