That is the answer. It's a two person job. With all the fussiness with the battery compartment, it's still one of the best guitars available IMHO.

I just had mine soldered back on. I was using duct tape for about a year. I changed the battery 4 times before the wires snapped. I expect them to snap again when I need to change the battery. You can't even be delicate with it because the battery is SO tight in the holder.

A quick google search showed me players like Eddie, Vai, Satch, Yngvai use 9s and even 8s. Players like Anastasio,Garcia, Mayer use 10s. My take away is that hippie shredders are physically stronger than metalhead shredders lol.

I just put regular SE Locking tuners on my SE HB2P. They dropped in perfectly. It was a 5 minute job.

When I first got my SE HB2P I switched over to 11/52s after 3 months or so. I played them for a month and realized I preferred the 10/46s. The piezo tone wasn't that much better if better at all. Congrats on the guitar I love it still.

Might depend on how good the players in the band are. Some guys I'll play thru pain for. Some guys... the moon and stars need to align. In all seriousness tho, I do hope your drummer is OK.

If mine gets stolen or something like that, I'd re buy the same. Satin white SH. They have a different neck pickup now tho. I'm sure it's awesome but it is definitely different.

I say the same thing when I go between my vela and SE HB2 Piezo. I use the same exact cars in my analogy.
