After months of hesitation, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a PS MEV with a ziricote neck :) I already have other PRS but this one is special! Really really pleased with the tone and feel. It's just an inspiring instrument... So happy!!!

I did the comparison between an October ‘18 model and the new one which was built in November ‘20. I also noticed the bigger frets / low output pups earlier (January ‘20) but it was in a store so the context could have influenced my perception...

Just got a new Silver Sky (tungsten) and the frets and pickups are definitely different.
