I’m GASing hard for one of these but I’m gonna hold out. I have a Dual Rectifier and TC50 at home (yes I’m a Mesa fanboy) that covers all the ground I need. HOWEVER, if Tremonti makes a 100W version... I may trade both to get one.

I was leaning Archon but idk. The TC-50 has my interest. I'll be playing the amps before I buy one. I know where to play a TC-50 close by but will have to drive 2 hours to play an Archon.

Thank you! Lots of overtime and gear selling to get to this point lol. My next intended move is to sell my Vox, OR15, and a few guitars and pick up a Mesa TC-50. That might be a while though.

My answer to the "you're playing too loud" issue? A Fryette Power Station (or other attenuator/reactive load box). Yes, some of them are expensive... but relative to what some pay for their guitars on here, they're pocket change lol. I have my Dual Rectifier's master volume at around 10:00...

I've never played one a mini, but I've heard that a Mini Rec sounds weak compared to its older/bigger brothers. It's like the low end isn't there, and it just sounds brittle. Same for the 6505MH. My OR15 sounded amazing before it died. So it's a good example that mid-high gain low wattage amps...

Welp, 3 months later and the OR15 I bought died :( It does not pay to buy amps in this price range used, unless you get a steal on it. $150 off is not a steal. It's at a tech, hopefully not an output transformer. At this point, I'm fixing it to sell it, since it's already made me mad...

I just pulled the trigger on an Orange OR15. I feel very good about this decision since I don't have anything that accomplishes that classic rock sound. I already have a Mesa Dual Rectifier for the metal stuffs. Plus, I use an Orange 2x12 cab so I'm sure it'll pair really well :)

Not really. I feel the same way about it. And the more info that leaks, the less I'm interested. Everyone was hyped for this amp, and nothing was mentioned at NAMM. Huge missed opportunity. I had the money to buy one, but it's going to be spent on something that's actually available. But...

It's looking like PRS has left the Tremonti amp at home. Still no word, unless they announce it tomorrow.

An Archon would be too rich for me. I managed to get the wife to okay the funds for the Runt 20. An Archon would be a few hundred more, used.

Well, I'm kinda bummed now. I guess we'll see whether it turns out to be a combo or not. If it's not what I want, I still have a backup plan.

I actually never owned a Bandit lol. I owned more classy brand name amps like Crate :p On a serious note, I owned a Squier BP15 and a Crate XT120R for ages. Finally upgraded to a Mesa Dual Rectifier and Vox NT15C1 a few years back.
