I know I'm really late seeing this but..... Not an investment banker, just a broken down former over spender. I'm actually grateful for my oversized collection, I lived off the proceeds from selling them these last 18 months since injuring myself into a medical retirement.

My wife bought this new from my local guitar shop. It's a 2011 faded blue burst, quilted 10-top CU24 and I still own it. I've bought and sold at least 30 PRS guitars since, but only 13 are still with me.

IMHO there isn't anything better being offered by PRS than their 85/15 , Tremonti set and the 57/08. The Cold Sweat by Bare Knuckle is my go to pickup got most applications

I agree that black gold isn't one of my favorites, but it's perfect with the maple neck and the artist grade top. I don't usually do flamed tops, I'm a quilt fan, but this one is so good that I had to buy it.
