Could anyone tell me what colour this is? And perhaps the specs of it?

Beautiful guitar! Welcome to the P24-club. They are amazing instruments.

    tuning devices

Peterson is the best IMHO. I've used them for years.

    Scratchplates... Do we need them?

I use stone picks and I'm an aggressive picker; I have no noticeable damage on any of my PRSi. I notice the scratch plate vibrates on my Les Paul Custom and it drives me nuts.

Are You The Master Of Your Own (Tone) Domain?

Great comments, Les! I too, chased the sound in my head for 40+ years and spent a small fortune acquiring gear trying to find that sound. Finally, within the past 3 years I've nailed it down and I love what I'm getting. It's a sound that sounds like ME. My PRSi are huge factors in the...

Beautiful guitar! Excellent color choice, BTW (said the man with 2 Dark Cherry Burst 24-fretters). Enjoy it, man.

Welcome to the P24 wing of the Club! I'm sure you will love yours as much as I do. It is a wonderful guitar.

Acoustic processor for P22 piezo signal

I'm using the Marshall acoustic amp and I'm very pleased! I agree completely with ViperDoc: you need to split the piezo out separately. Otherwise, you're not realizing the full potential of your guitar and you will probably be disappointed.

    NGD: P24 Black Gold Burst

Awesome guitar, man! Congratulations. I hope you love it as much as I love my P24. They are great gigging guitars because they cover so much territory.

    PS Top Selection

#4 if it were my money and my build, which it isn't. However, all are great with lots of character and potential.

    First PRS Guitar

To do Pink Floyd, I highly recommend going with a P24Trem with Artist Package. You can play the acoustic chords of "Mother" , then instantly rip into the achingly beautiful electric lead, and go right back to acoustic. I use the P24 Trem for all my David Gilmour stuff (and it's a lot!).

    EMG hate

Along the lines of what Les said, I have EMGs in my Steinberger, and they give me a wide range of tones. Wouldn't think of swapping them out.

waiting on a new PRS guitar order, how long?

I ordered an AP this time last year. It was in my hands 12 weeks later.

Gibson player looking at possibly getting a PRS sometime this year

William, Welcome to the Forum. I played an E2 Explorer as my main guitar for a decade or more. Also have a couple of Lesters. I can't speak highly enough of my 3 PRSi's. The P24 Trem is my go to guitar. I highly recommend using an Ernie Ball Volume pedal for those swells and free up your...
