Thanks guys. It seems like it is a little more brownish than orangey, like some are. At least alot of the pics online of Amber finish seem to be a little more orange.....

Love this guitar. Beautiful finish and plays so nice...and the flame is gorgeous....

The S2's I've played have been quite a bit better than the SE's ive played.

Exactly what I did. Tightened the truss a bit and lowered the bridge saddles.

The action was high on mine too, that I just got yesterday. Changed the strings and set it up and wow, very great guitar. Love it.

FWIW - my CE 24 just arrived. Beautiful guitar and the scarf joint is a non issue. You can barely see it (as I expected it to be) Very happy with it.

Do any of the SE models have a scarf joint? I'm assuming they do if it's cheaper and they save wood...

You would think it would be more work doing a scarf joint...for the time it takes to make sure that spot it as good and strong as can be..

Can you actually tell there is a scarf joint by looking? I read a post on another site where a guy sold his beacuse he could see and feel where it was scarfed. I find that a bit hard to believe, bit wanted some thoughts and opinions here....
