LOL. The picture, which is a couple of years old, was taken in a Canadian music store. The price equals approx. $3400 US dollars. They had the guitar (SC58) for a couple of years. It sold shortly after I took the picture, actually.
I don't think it's only because of GC. I don't think there's a single store left here in Montreal that stocks core line PRS guitars while there were at least three just a couple of years ago.
I have a 2008 Singlecut Hollowbody Artist package. The pickups are supposed to be "245 with Hollowbody electronics", I believe this information came from Customer Service. The MODCAT returns:
Treble Pickup: Mira or 245
Middle Pickup: none
Bass Pickup: Mira or 245
Electronics: JA-15 or HB 12...
When I bought my PRS, it took the salesman about ten minutes to find a strap that could fit over the PRS buttons. I use Schaller locks on all my electrics so I don't have to deal with that (among other benefits).
