My baseline vote-anything but paisley. I abandoned paisley when I quit annually consuming weed equal to my weight.<>

S2 Finish Flake at Neck Joint...

Same problem but not at a joint. PRS warranty was great.

    Strap Locks??

None on a PRS. I remove button, put through and screw back on (beeswax always on wood screws). On others, Dunlops. The critical failure part is stamped stainless and will bend, but very rarely fail. 55 years, never heard of one. Scallers are pot metal and will fatigue fracture at critical...

I think I did some damage to my fretboard while cleaning it.

I think that you have "cleaned" the natural oils out of that fretboard. At the same time, you have "raised" the grain on the FB. Rosewood is considered an open pored wood and I see white deposits down into the pores that are left over from the products you used. I would deep clean the FB with...

SE Bernie guitar case... tkl 7824 lpj?

Same reason for me. My guitar outweighs my dog by a couple of pounds<>, so he doesn't knock it over on the stand, but humidity control is a real issue. Thank you, gentlemen.

SE Bernie guitar case... tkl 7824 lpj?

<> Cheater<> you had something to read. Now, I am seriously in the market for a conventional case like this for my S2 Singlecut.. And so, based upon your representations, I plan to order one when my guitar gets back from some rare "do-over" warranty refinish.

SE Bernie guitar case... tkl 7824 lpj?

Just eyeballin', I'd say the arched looks like a better bet. Look at how tall the first neck rest point is on the flat top. That would indicate it is made for around a minimum 4* neck angle. The arched appears to be a flatter plane for less neck angle. Just going by the pictures. I have had...

As a new fellow and at the bottom of the "Made in USA" ladder, I will shut up now. Best regards to all. I assume that if this happens we will be advised here.

If initial approval were obtained from the company, then, as I suggested, the rest can be pretty painless. I have not talked to Andy DePaule for awhile, but I hope he is still alive. He is expert at design and he has excellent dedicated manufacture in Viet Nam. Andy is a "go-to" fellow for many...

Core 2012 Mira vs S2 electronics: Brightness, wiring, 50's vs modern, tone cap values.

Hello- when you refer to modern vs.50's -vintage wiring, are you discussion the same difference that is a part of the Les Paul wiring history? ( which lug on tone control(s) / where the cap is connected from volume to tone)

This is my last bump. I do not want to be a further burden on the forum. I do not have any "connections" to PRS that would boost the level of attention that is paid to a request. If this great tradition is to survive, then one or more of you who are long-time PRS people and have had actual...

    The "Name" Thread

If you still are listing; Ol' Lefty is "Mike" ( once I get to know a fellow forum member, I use my "real" name of "Mike." However, it is a lifelong nickname for a long and for many years, a troublesome legal name. John Lennon changed that but I had many a fight/scuffle/ dust up until then.

    2012 Singlecut Questions.

Since you have it in hand so often, take a tape measure and measure from front of nut to center of 12th fret and multiply that number by 2. That is the nominal scale of the guitar. That way you know the scale!

Yes, bump. I have great interest because I really enjoy good inlay, and a quality and special would be a nice, tasteful bit of bling for my S2 SC Custom.
