What I actually got for Christmas...strings and $50 gift card. A sneak preview of what I bought myself on Reverb on the 24th yet for some reason hasn’t been delivered yet. Damn holidays.

Just cleaned it, got some new velcro, and put on the HOF Mini to suplement reverb when required. There is also some room for expansion. If I ever decide on another drive pedal (OCD is still in the lead) it should fit nicely next to the Archer.

Yeah, he offered it to me for an AVRI Strat +$500. I already think that is too much, but that is what negotiations are for. Just trying to get a gauge on percieved value if I do decide to counter.

Nope. Receipt said 22 not 24. When I was in the store today, they said they had never acually had a S2 Stardard 24 in that colour in the store according to inventory. When they scanned it againnit came up as a 22.

I haven't tried lowering the pickups yet. I hate playing the pickup game and occasionally I just need someone to talk me out of it ;)

I am not sure I would say that it bothers me, but when I generally never have the tone above 5-7 or below about 2-3 I wonder if perhaps a different set of PU's would provide me with a more useful range of tones. Or at least useful to my ears.
