Is there a documented neck carve history of PRS guitars out there that shows which necks where available on which guitars and when things changed ? I've done a search of this forum already and have only found bits and pieces and general changes. This is only for my own research and curiosity...

I'm dealing with a Stoptail, not a trem.

I'm up in the Great White North ( Canada ) so legit PRS parts are expensive and shipping takes forever, so I'm leaning towards a Tusq nut I can get from Amazon much easier.

Ok guys. I'm about to order parts and I still need to know which to get for 94 Custom 24. McCarty Drop-in single conductor OR McCarty Drop-in multi conductor sets. Physically I think they are the same, its just the wiring is a bit different. Thanks for the help

HFS and Vintage Bass. I really like the HFS, nice and hot and sounds great. Still trying to get used to the VB thou. This is my first PRS and my other guitars have Duncan 59 in the neck so I guess I just need to give it time. If in a few months I still don't like the VB I'll look at swapping...

The frets and Stoptail were in pretty rough shape as well after 25 yrs of neglect. Nice and shiny now after using some Frine fret polish.

I actually had a choice between this one and another from 97 with a lovely orange flame top but they had Fishman Fluence KSE pickups installed... its still for sale. lol. and has been for several months. I think being up in Vancouver BC makes a big difference in terms of buyers/market.

How have neck profiles changed over the years ? Specifically the Wide Fat and Wide Thin from the early 2000s. I'm looking at a 2005 Cu22 with a Stoptail and a Wide Fat neck. I'd like to find a Cu24 with a Stoptail in my budget but its just not happening... So. how would a 2005 Wide Fat...
