Interesting, your 0.033uF capacitor between your tone and volume potentiometers isn’t sleeved either. . .

From my reading of the wiring diagram, I agree with @BlueSky's theory that the big yellow capacitor coming off of the switch is suspicious. From the wiring diagram, that should just be a wire from the 3-way switch to the terminal on the volume potentiometer, no third capacitor in the circuit...

I hope it is just some excess solder or something simple that is just shunting your signal to ground. Please post up when the solution is found. I am curious to hear what was wrong.

That is concerning. My 509 had a problem with the neck pickup in humbucker mode where it was measuring in the range of ~400k and had super low output, but that was a back pickup that was replaced at the PTC under warranty. Is this a recent discovery? It’s possible that it is the wiring, if...

It's 6 lbs 14 oz, so a very comfortable weight. I appreciate all of the positive feedback on it. I also like that it has the 'Smoked Black' hardware because I think the traditional hybrid hardware on a 10 top would draw too much attention away from the amazing flame top.
