folks are out and about with family and friends a lot more in the summer, plus the kids being out of school. home projects take up time. sometimes you can only talk about a subject so many times and you need a break. i think not being able to discuss other brands of guitars sometimes hurts the site.
metal and all of its iterations fall under the rock umbrella. it is just how older rock progressed and what rock has morphed into. rock is a big umbrella that covers alot of different genres.
when ultra rich performers in any industry say we want to thank the fans, without whom they would not be rich, they simply want to "thank you", not necessarily give you a freebie or take money out of their own pockets (although, there are a few exceptions).
great player. love the wide/fat neck, and it never feels sticky to me with the gloss finish. versatile pickups in my opinion. have had mine since 2012, so not sure how the newer "S" pickups sound, if that is what they are. picked mine up new at sweetwater for $400. got lucky on price.
