I played them both in peron first because I was in the same predicament as you. Bought the Mira because I love the midrange snarl it has ala an SG on roids.

Mine was extra noisy with anything TC Electronic....took it out and it was gone, mind you it still had the background hum. Best of luck to you on your new amp search!

That's too bad dude, it really is a great amp. As far as the loop noise goes, I just catered my pedals so the noise is almost non existent. There is definitely an added background noise when the loop is activated, but I'm pretty sure this may be inherent with high gain amps in general. My friend...
