Did you buy it from a PRS dealer? They may swap it out for you under warranty.

I don’t notice it all. The Vela is the most comfortable guitar I own.

I had a core Mira that sounded good but I just couldn’t bond with it. I traded it for two amps instead.

My friend is a very experienced guitar tech, so I would just pay him to do it. Might have to give it a go!

I still occasionally play my other electric guitars just to make sure that the Vela is as good as I think it is. The answer is always YES.

It’s a great guitar, and it will suit some folks perfectly.

We recently A/B’d my Vela next to an NF53. I was surprised at just how similar they are. The NF53 bridge pickup is pretty special, but the neck pickup isn’t as articulate as the D-style neck pickup in the Vela. For the money, the Vela wins hands down.

That’s a very diverse group of folks over at TGP. Some are very knowledgeable and experienced. Others not so much. And a few can be pretty obnoxious. Kind of like the entire country.
