Had the 57/08s in a CE22. Have had them in various other non trem PRS and other guitars. Not really impressed with them. Nothing special. Never understood why people like them so much. Pretty generic PAFs and I have tried all the boutiques and SD/Gibson etc variants.

It's a pro level instrument. I have had 7 or 8 core DGTs. The SE is very very good.

As others have said, they addressed the issue at no cost to you. Really not sure what else they were required to do.

Did they pay for shipping? Changing strings, conditioning the fretboard, doing neck adjustment, and then doing a basic setup takes some time.

The DGT 6100 frets are taller and one of the unique features of the guitar. They are wider than 6105 frets which are popular. Some people love them, others do not. If you play blues and like to bend notes they are awesome. I am a big fan.

Yes, ended up at just about 4/32 on treble and bass side on both the bridge and neck pickups. Raised the D string pole piece on both of them to get even sound level string to string.

Update on the pickups. Have been adjusting the pickup pole piece height and overall height. These are really very good. Not even sure I need to put in the DGT core set I have coming.

I looked up the specs on the Alpha Volume pots. They are 500k with +/- 20% tolerance. It might make a difference if they are lower out of spec. I will try and measure them. As luck would have it I just found a used DGT Core set at a not crazy price that I am going to grab and will see if they...

Any decent PAF design in 4 conductor. SD Seth lovers, Wolfetone Vintage, PRS 5708's, etc. On the other hand I am learning to use the amp controls and a few effects better so probably I should just work with the stock pickups more.
