    Custom 24 or custom 22

I pretty much only use the bridge pickup so to me they sound the same. This may be in my head but the 24 feels easier to bend strings. I prefer the 24.

Thanks Bodia. That’s what I tried but it didn’t work for me.

    PRS floating guitar stand

It does look cool. Good to know it’s padded. I didn’t see that from the pix.

    PRS floating guitar stand

Does anyone have one of these yet? It looks like it would knock the bottom of the guitar if it stays too much.

    Please welcome me

Congratulations on the graduation and the the new guitar! I’m a little jealous, I haven’t bought a new PRS in almost 2 years. I’ve never had an SE Custom 24 but like many others on the forum I’ve owned several PRS’s. I’ve loved all of them. Hopefully this will be the first of many for you.

Going back and forth between two Mesa amps...

Hope you feel better soon. Btw, I meant Triple “Crown” (not crow). o_O I have the 2x12 recto cab. I haven’t played the combo but I imagine it would be great too.

You can’t buy a Mesa without considering the Triple Crow series. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/search.php?s=Tc50 It’s the best of both worlds: great sound and easy to dial in.

Mesa Boogie Rectifier series vs. Mark V

I prefer cabs for live sound especially if your amp isn’t against a wall. I guess if it’s mic’ed it wouldn’t make too much of a difference though.

Mesa Boogie Rectifier series vs. Mark V

I had a .5 caliber and a dual rectifier. Another one to consider is a TC50. I’ve been playing the 50W Triple Crown with a 2x12 cab for the past couple of years. To me me it’s way better for metal. Plus it’s a lot easier to dial in a tone.
