I have an S2 594 single cut. I've not experienced your issue. These are usually fairly light guitars and balance well. These guitars are an excellent value and consistently play superb, if you like a chunky neck.

You can't blame GC for the poor quality guitars. It's the makers.

I recently picked up one of these off of my local Craig's list after many years playing Les Pauls. It looks identical to the one in your bloozy name plate photo. I love it, and also have been looking for more info on this model.

Like some other posters here, I prefer the Santana on the Ted single cuts, especially the SC's with p-90's.

And the Santana headstock to boot! What a beauty!

I don't hang any of my guitars for fear of hanger burn, which bugs the heck out of me. I keep the one I am currently playing on a stand.

The McCarty 245 soapbars with stock p/u's do it for me.
