    Headstock Logo Glue?

Successful logo repair! Thanks for everyone's help and advice. Here is what I did... Supplies - X-Acto knife (sharp), Scotch double-sided tape, and Reynolds Cut-Rite wax paper (from the kitchen). Using the knife edge, carefully scrape the old adhesive off the back of the metal logo. Tape the...

    Headstock Logo Glue?

The capital P (as in Paul) on my Custom 24 headstock logo has come loose and is roaming around. I haven't lost it yet, and stopped playing this guitar until I fix it. Wondering what glue is recommended to secure it? Thank you!

    Make it look so easy

If you believe "it takes 10,000 hours to master anything" then I guess it's a marathon not a sprint. I play in a worship band and think I'm the only one who has to practice to show up for practice! And when they change the key or arrangement, I start over learning the song. Having the Sunday...

    New S2 Studio!

This year I decided to sell my vintage Tele and find a single coil or P90 guitar I love to play. I already love my Custom 24 core with 57/08 and 59/09 pickups, and need a good backup. But I need to hold it, play it, and see if it says "this is the one". So the S2 Studio is out unless some...

    Vox Amplug

Headphone response is a personal preference. If you want fairly cheap, flatter headphones, try the KRK KNS8400 or ATH-M50x (I have the M50x).

    Vox Amplug

If you hear too much bass or treble and can't balance them, this may be the "smiley face" (scooped) frequency response of low-end headphones. This "party mix" is a common design choice in low-end consumer audio, where customers like booming bass and lots of treble presence. If the product...

    Should we intonate with harmonics?

Agree with MichaelS that the pressed fret is what you will hear when playing. When you press behind the fret, you slightly stretch the string making it go sharp. Intonate while pressing the fret the same way you play, how hard and how far behind the fret makes a difference. You can see it on...

    58/15 LT pickups - squeal?

Hands do not affect magnetic fields much. Could be radio frequency interference (RFI) pickup which can be enhanced by your hands, like moving them close to a radio antenna.
