Hmmm, I didn't have any issues with the 85/15's. I just found them way too bright and trebley. But I could still dial them in to a pretty sweet spot. I think they are great pick ups. But I had heard so much about the 58/15LT's, and what they were built to emulate, more of a classic PAF sounding...
Hey,
Yes I did the switch. I found a good tech who did it for me.
This diagram was helpful.

I'm extremely happy with the way the 58/15 LTs sound.
Good luck!
Hi everyone.
I live in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good guitar tech/luthier in the area that can help me swap out the pickups on my PRS and do a set up. Seems like anyone I call has limited to no experience with PRS. When I get the...
Thank you for your reply. I have found the wiring diagrams on the PRS website, but can't find anything specific to the 85/15 , 58/15LT.
Can you post links?
Thanks.
Hi!
I've recently purchased a set of the 58/15LT pick ups released by PRS, and I want to put them into my CE 24 Reclaimed. Can anyone help with info/links/videos to help guide me through it. Also looking for links to wiring diagrams. Thanks!!
Hey all. I own a CE 24 reclaimed that came with a gig bag. I have a chance to get a hard case someone is selling used. The guitar that came with the case originally was a custom 22. My question is, will my CE 24 fit properly in that case? Unfortunately I can’t try it before hand.
Thanks!
That's a great pic, thanks! But I'm guessing that's of the full hollow body, not the semi? A picture like that of a semi hollow would be perfect. Anyone?
Can't find any details when I search this on the interweb. Just curious if anyone knows if the McCarty 594 that John Mayer sometimes plays with Dead and Co. is stock, or if it has any special mods. Does it have the 58/15LT pick ups in it?
Thanks.
