Hey guys, got my SSH today and put on some 48-10.5s in place of the Factory 46-10s. I noticed the bridge has pulled up a bit (to be expected) but the action seems to be fine. What’s the easiest was to bring it down without having to do a full setup? Can I just tighten the springs down a bit?

I just joined the club. After almost two years of talking myself out of buying a Super Eagle, and almost a year of waiting on these to start showing up, I pulled the trigger. Got a great deal and a finish that I was hoping for! Can't wait to give it a whirl next week when it arrives.

Oh Mayer is definitely spending a lot of time in 2nd position (my personal fav!). Jerry played more in the middle position, so it'd be great to have that as well. It looks like "middle" position is really both outside pickups.

This is my biggest "gripe" with the guitar...assuming that's what you are getting it for, that's kind of the point of the Super Eagle. I've mulled it over all weekend and decided to pass on this one. Give me Super Eagle or give me death at this point!

Interesting. I “won” an action from a Canadian seller for $9,700, but it didn’t meet reserve. I’m a big believer that an item is worth what someone is willing to pay, but I also get that folks that own a guitar this expensive are not itching to move it at a loss.

Do you know what it went for? I’ve been haggling with several private sellers for months and just can’t get a deal done. The listed prices keep rising in Reverb but there are no sales. People just see $17k and think that’s what these are worth. Holding out hope for a SE III at this point.

I want this amp so bad...I just want a Super Eagle worse right now...
