I have a `96 Santana 1, a Santana Brazilian Ltd and a Westy. The one I like the least is the Westy. The S1 is my favourite.

Don`t know about the price these days, but I love my McCarty BLE. Light and excellent sounding. I also own two Custom 22 BLE`s. But, the McCarty smokes them both.

Yes, thick necks, big frets, thick strings with higher action is my choice. Big tone and slows down the unnecessary and meaningless fast playing.

I use Matt Schofield signature set 11-54 on my PS. The NYXLs feels stiffer but sounds just as good.

The 594 is the only PRS model I will never buy. And it`s all about the toggle switch placement. Yuck (sorry).

Beautiful guitar. But, I wish they would make it even more authentic, with the original Duncan pickups.

After seeing Gary Moore Over the hills and far away video, I got myself the same Royal blue Custom guitar. This was in 1987. Bought also a Scarlet red Custom the same year. Still have the Scarlet, but the Royal was sold the year after.

And not forget the hidden feature inside the control cavity, the treble roll-off adjustment (screwdriver). I love everything about this guitar. Chunky neck, big big frets etc.

I ordered mine in July, still waiting for it. The moment my music store receive it, I`ll test it there and then for noise issues. If I hear the problems, the amp will be returned and look for something else.

If this is the Pomegrate guitar, it has faded a lot. Stunning quilt.

What I especially love about my S1, is the chunky neck and big frets. Another cool feature is the treble pickup treble roll-off screw inside with the wires.
