Very cool. I'm going check that out. I was never a big user of a tremolo arm but since the Starla (Bigsby), I use it more and more on my Santana and DGT as well. I ended up on this thread because I was thinking of trying to add a Bigsby to my 594 but....no no. Not messing w it.

Scored an 08 Starla (core). Of the many, I play it the most I'd say. Super versatile. Love the Bigsby. Installed graph tech locking tuners and I can't believe how well it stays in tune. Game changer.

I've improved the situation a bit by adding some relief. Played a bunch. Great pups and switching. Super versatile. While improved, it still buzzes compared to even my cheapest guitars. . Will keep trying but again, why are these guitars so uniquely a pain in the arse?

Mine is pretty bad all around. I'm uncomfortable counting on a set up to sort out buzz basically everywhere. Mines going back unfortunately. Beautiful Orion green finish and body shape though. Dang.

Man, totally bummed to see how widespread this is. I've bought 3 PRS guitars site unseen before this. Zero issues. Mine buzzes everywhere and the action isn't even really low. It's about the same as my DGT which is highest of all my guitars but the DGT buzzes nowhere. Go figure.

Wow, especially with that neck and the sort of inherent heftiness of the 594, 8s must feel crazy at first. I watched a comparison of gauges this morn (youtube rabbit hole) and the consensus was 8s sound the tightest and most articulate. Especially the low end stuff. I can't say I disagree...
