Flatten radius on a Custom 24?

The inlays are made of a laminated material. If they take a lot off of them it could go through the top layer.

    Knocking Down the Finish...

He mentioned in a post in another thread somewhere that it is a hold over from the line of work he has done for many years. It is easier to roll with it than to try to change it at this point.

    Random. No more or less

I have often thought about mediation. I haven't figured out how to get past it feeling silly. My mind hasn't figured out how to take it seriously. I found some guided meditations on Spotify. I haven't found one that has worked yet. I feel like I could benefit from finding a way to get my...

    Backing track equipment

There are a number of ways to do this. I am not sure how much you want to play and record, like bass and drums etc.. There are a lot of backing tracks on YouTube. You can rip the audio off of those and then drop that into a DAW then record yourself playing along with it. Another option that...

So Just How Many Pedals Do You Own?

It definitely sounds like we married the same woman. My wife has been so encouraging through our life together. She is the reason that I am going through with having a private stock built. I told her that I really wanted to do it and would love to take her to the factory with me and she...

    My journey has begun!

Well, I had a little bump in the road with this. The dealer I picked didn't seem all that interested in this sale. There were very long lags between communications. Things were never done when they said they would be. I happened to think that if something went sideways with this build this...

    DGT Strings

Interesting video. I just started it up. It is interesting to see Dan a good bit less gray and Mick with a clean shaven face. I will play this today between meetings. Thanks for posting it.

So Just How Many Pedals Do You Own?

I honestly don't know. I am going to guess around 50 or so. I have them stashed in a couple of places. I am also dur for a purge. I have sold a couple of guitars and plan on selling quite a few more. I won't end up with nothing but PRS guitars but that is what the bulk of them will be, as it...

    P22 Pickup Problem

The 53/10 pickups in my P22 measurements are; Treble: 8.72k Bass: 8.03k As a side note, the P22 that I have with 57/08 pickups in it have uncovered 57/08 pickups. I have only seen them like this is in the P22 guitars. They are also of the hotter variety.

Question on double humbucker sound when combined

This isn't always true. It really depends on the pickups and when they were made. A good example is the 57/08 pickups. They were being produced magnetically in phase for a good while. At some point PRS changed how they are made and they added more wires to them and flipped the magnet on neck...

    P22 Pickup Problem

Here is what the book that came with one of my P22 guitars says on the 5 way. P1: (down) Treble pickup P2: Treble humbucking pickup and bass single coil P3: Treble and bass humbucking pickups P4: Treble slug coil and bass single coil P5: (up) bass pickup It doesn't have a coil tap.

    P22 Pickup Problem

I found an old thread on here where someone sent their P22 into the PTC to have a push pull mod done to it so it should work. I have two solid body PRS guitars with the Piezo system in them. If I get a chance I can look in the cases to see if there is a switching diagram in there.

    P22 Pickup Problem

I would flip the neck pickup around so the screws are facing the fretboard. Then check their magnetic phase. They are probably the same. If they are, you will need to swap the hot and ground wires on one of them. You will be surprised at how much better it sounds in the middle position after...
