My new to me DGT sounds pretty great with my Tone King Imperial. Still dialing in the guitar and addressing some issues with the tuners but wow, what an instrument.

Not really possible to capture in a still photo. I turn the tuner button and it just spins on the shaft. It’s stripped.

FYI, heard back from PRS support. They’re recommending Schaller M6 Mini buttons as replacement. Problem is, there’s apparently no cream colored replacement available to match the 08 DGT. Not the end of the world but it would have been cool to retain the original look. Hoping I can still find an...

Wrong forum or not, does a source exist where I can buy phase 2 tuner replacement buttons in the original cream color that came on my guitar? In doing some searches I’m gathering that these are no longer available. I have an email in to PRS support, waiting for their response.

I’ll agree to a point, but in a gig situation when you need to retune quickly it’s better to have little to no play and a predictable response from the tuner. Really not optimal to have so much slack.

Yes. As stated previously in this thread it's not uncommon in some guitars.

The tuner moves a bit before engaging and affecting the pitch of the string. There's "play" in it.

I was really lucky on this one - barely a ding to be seen. I've seen a few extreme examples though, especially the early ones that had the nitro issues. Yikes.
