At first glance, I thought maybe that was your brother drawing on a chalk board. Wasn't till I looked at the floorboards did I realize the entire thing was the painting. Great work!
Indeed it was. Not takin away from H&K. I have a tubemeister 36 and it sounds great to me. But for them to try to pawn something off for more than what it was is a little disturbing.
I went in to look at amps a while back. Was browsing when the sales person came up and said, "this is one of the best! Hand wired in Germany!" My response, "then why does it say made in China on the back?" He quit talking to me :-/
I did see a tweet from Mr. Tremonti recently saying he has been recording the new Alter Bridge album with his PRS signature prototype amp. Perhaps something soon?
Bringing this thread up yet again due to the acquisition of another Tremonti. Finally located at 2001 model and am awaiting it's arrival. Here's a pic that was sent to me.
I signed up for this about a month ago. There is quite a bit of content in the course and even after playing for 20 years, there are things that I'm learning from the first few lessons. Not trying to push this on anyone by any means, but if there are beginners out there or even intermediate...
Did this a couple of times as well! He signed the back of the headstock on one of my guitars and partially overshot into the first fret. Not by much and so far it hasn't been an issue with anything rubbing off. If it does, it's only part of it and the majority of the signature is still there...
That guitar has been on eBay for at least a year. Boggles my mind that the seller hasn't figured out it isn't going to sell unless it's to someone who just doesn't have a clue. As for the lesson with Mark, I've done it twice and he taught different things at each one. I, personally, learned...
I'm in the same boat as crgtr, if you want to sell those pups and they can't get them for whatever, lemme know. Been looking for a set of 57/08s for my sc245.
I went on a tour through the factory a couple of weeks ago. When going through the acoustic section, I remember thinking it was very very small. As I was thinking that, the tour guide stated that the acoustics are considered private stock guitars and the production #s/month are very low...
I have a custom 24 with the VB and HFS pickups, if you get that guitar and don't like the pups, I may trade ya if you wanted :-D Played a 30th at the factory and loved it. Have a feeling you would love the setup as well :-)
A little late to the party, but figured I'd show my orange tiger Tremonti. There's another thread on here somewhere with the history of the guitar. Without further ado, PIC!
Mike, he's not using the archon with this tour. He does have it as a backup. He said this touring rig is pretty much bare bones. If I remember the conversation correctly, he's on touring with 4 pedals as well plus the wah. Very minimal.
Look into a Hughes & Kettner. I have the tubemeister 36. Pretty much had everything you are looking for. Settings for 36, 18, 5 & 1 watt. Keep mine on 5 and the gain is excellent.
