The problem I have with the block saddles are the width of the grooves, works fine on bigger diameter strings but the g b and e have to much room and this was causing a serious sitar sound especially on the g , the new saddle’s have smaller grooves, this was my experience and the new saddle...

just replaced my 2018 594 block saddles with the newer style, made big difference, had terrible sitar sound on g and b now that’s gone and has a more chimney tone.
