    Introduce yourself!

I became a PRS owner today. Im still a beginner so I can't make this thing scream yet. :) I figured I'd get a used PRs first, learn to play, then get something sweet in the future.

Looking for guitars of good quality

Thanks for the advice. After shopping around and researching I decided to just go with the Paul Allender. Its wicked looking and I'm sure it will song great. I got it used and for the price, I couldn't pass it up. In the future, granted im still playing, I will pick up a nice new S2 model.

Looking for guitars of good quality

Can you guys explain the PRS hierarchy. I'm on the verge of buying my first prs and I know price isn't always an indication of quality. I'm still a beginner but I want something decent to learn on. I also enjoy hard rock and metal. Not sure if emg's are mandatory. My price range is about $1k...

    Beginner. Advise?

Thanks for the replys guys. I just don't want to get discouraged and quit like I have done several times in the past. I'm on the verge of buying my first PRS, narrowed down between the Torero and the Paul Allender SE.

    Beginner. Advise?

I got Rocksmith to help me learn. I was also thinking about signing up for Jamplay. I know I should get face to face lessons, but not sure where I can find a teacher around here. Any suggestions on how to maximize my gains and avoid bad habits? Thanks Ed

    Introduce yourself!

Excellent points Chris! A few of my friends are giving me a hard time for getting a Les Paul to learn on, the other half love it. I just want some variety and quality. 2013 was good to me financially and the wife said "whatever makes me happy". haha YAY! :) I'm just going to do more research...

Thanks for the reply Chris. I do like the Custom 24. I've been eyeballing the SE Paul Allender too. I just hope I'm not getting ahead of myself. Like I said, I just started in December.

    Introduce yourself!

Hi all! I'm a beginner. I just hastefully bought an Epiphone Les Paul traditional pro 2 weeks ago. But it's fine, I like it. I'm using Rocksmith right now but I would like to take lessons soon. I've owned guitars (bC rich warlock, Ibanez, Yamaha, etc)in the past but I always quit after a month...
