Lots of cyclists here. Good.
I've been into the bicycle thing since '91. Still in the industry. Guitars are my second "thing".
And beer. Can't forget about that.
And Pro Football.
And College Football...
Another option is the Vox Amplug. I've got one and it's perfect for playing with headphones anywhere. It's also got a line in connection if you want to play to songs on your Ipad/phone, etc. Not a bad piece of equipment for $40.
Awesome to hear. That's why we buy guitars, right? To play the hell out of them?! They're just not my style-- which, can best be described as "three hours after prime time".
That being said, I do wish I could someday have the skills to match the beauty of such a guitar.
For me, those are in the category of "too beautiful/flamboyant/ostentatious" to play and would likely spend a sad life hung on a wall in a meticulously lit, temperature controlled room, looking really pretty.
I got a 1990 CE24 as my first PRS a few weeks back. Coming from a '96 LP Standard (which I still adore), the thing just slays for days! Good luck...and post some photos!
Already "watching" that one. Ideally, I'd like solid black but may opt for something I can turn into a project guitar-- easy access to all the sweet equipment at work has me thinking the latter.
More of a guidance counselor...;)
If you obsess about it enough, you may just find a reason to buy it. Love to get a PS someday, but right now...it's a black SE CU24 with moons that has me scraping the internet for "the one".
