That one is my buddy's build from our July vault trip (PS 11159) = He confirmed it earlier today.
Now I just want to see PS 11158, but I know my fat back / semi-hollow (no f-hole) extra options likely has it back in the que a bit.
I wanted an SC HB1 bad enough that I went the Private Stock route years ago to get some of the features that I also wanted on top of the core offerings that you can find from time to time on the used market.
Regardless of what you pick, if you are looking for a symmetrical top the selected billet needs to be fairly straight grain throughout it else you will lose symmetry as the top is carved; just something to be mindful of if you ever spec out a PS.
It's really a bummer that they are even limiting the colors of opaque's thru PTC. I will admit though, that a good white PRS really shows off the curves from the violin carve; here is shot of my old CE24 to make my point:
Honestly Pete it doesn't have a name. Jack mixed up a few different options on a scrap / trimmed piece from my top billet and sent them to me for approval / thoughts. I still have the sample piece too (it's a special keep sake). Pretty sure we picked something in the middle of one of these...

One of the original 26 IRW McSoap Standards (bought it used...
Those you know you are not at all surprised!!
I saw it up on Reverb today = such a killer guitar! Fighting the urge to send you a note on the side about it, but I'm trying to keep the funds I had planned available for something else.
I tried all sorts of adjustments physical and amp settings. I think that I just found myself wanting a bit more creaminess and punch (bottom end) in the tone that I wasn't able to hear for myself. In fairness I never tried a different brand of P-90's, so maybe that would've gotten me there...
Here are my three attempts at loving a full P-90 equipped guitar (L/R).
1) IRW McSoap - My first experience with soapbars & IRW (also my first 1-piece top).
2) IRS Standard McSoap (one of the "original 26") - I had hoped the full mahogany body would help mellow out the bridge tones and add in...
