If I hadn't known in advance the neck was asymmetrical I'm not sure I would have noticed immediately. It is very subtle. I am used to playing Gibson R9 necks and the '594 pattern vintage neck is extremely comfortable for me. I much prefer the '594 neck over my TH '59.
