Sounds way better than the stock ones for sure. Was more impressed by the bass pickups on the SE pickups than the treble. The McCartys sound great on the Blues jr.

So rewiring makes a pretty huge difference? Im also wondering if it's my lack of a tube amp that is making certain sounds difficult to attain. Did you go ahead and keep the se 45 pickups?
