Just saw you posted a different thread about the calendar. Sorry about that. You do know the pic in the calendar is the back of the Mandolin? Not sure if there are other pics of it or not.
All I could find is that it's November in the 2004 Private Stock Calendar. So if you can find one of those...
Kinda fuzzy but I did find this pic of a PRS Mandolin though:
FWIW,
Because I'm not claiming to be a PRS expert but that's not a very good job for a "PRS Authorized technician" IMHO. You called out some significant red flags. That "redone" logo is pretty sloppy around that "®", not to mention it's was unsuccessfully listed on eBay three times. I hope...
Should you get the inclination to go through with it, here's a video I came across last week of someone that turned their Brazilian Rosewood furniture into a nice acoustic guitar.
A 1979 Pre-production Santana with a lofty price tag.

Probably from the second run commissioned by Musicians Friend in 2011. The first run in 2010 were all numbered out of 25. Their second run was all 10 Top's. There was another thread on them a while back:

I don't know what the asking price is (or if it's still available for sale) but maybe this 1986 completely original one-piece maple top will make you feel a lot better. :top:
