Glad I got my P245 as well @Gman77! You will like it when you finally open it.
Also noticed that the SC594 and the Tremonti are the only two SC's in the Core lineup. I guess its enough with the 24.594, 25 and 25.5 scale lengths represented. 25.5 for a short time anyway.
I am pretty sure that the SC250 was marketed toward the rock/hard rock genre. It is one of PRS's higher output pickup. I know of more than a few hard rock guitarists that play them. The SC245 was marketed for a more vintage sounding guitar and pickup.

Well it seems to jive with Paul's idea of what a hybrid baritone is. I didn't see much of an uproar over Holcomb's 25.5" "baritone". Grant it there may be some out there. I searched around and saw a few sites that mentioned 25.5 or more in regards to baritone lengths. I didn't find anything that...

This from John Mann may be the ticket. I haven't used either so I can't speak to which is better. But John Mann's stuff is top notch from all I've read.

The most common scale lengths on an electric baritone range from 25.5" to 28.7", With the latter...
That McCarty is really nice. I looked at it once or twice. There are some really nice guitars listed there for decent prices. They had a SC245 that really liked. I just bought a USA Tremonti from Chicago Music Exchange. If it doesn't do it for me I'll sell it and grab the 245. I like my P245 so...
That's good to hear. I bought one guitar (P245) from them last year and had no issues. I did contact them prior to ask a few questions before hitting the buy button. But I've been very happy.
I am running the HFS in my P245. They are hotter than the 58/15's that it came with. But they really clean up nicely when I roll off the volume. My personal favorites were the original Dragons in my '96 CU22.
The 59/09's seem to be pretty highly rated. Chris Robertson from Black Stone Cherry...
