    My MT100 died!

Yep. Overseas quality control isn’t the same as in Maryland.

What are the lead times for production of PRS Core Custom 24-08 ?

There is a killer cobalt 24-08 at my local shop. I’d be happy to stop by and give it a try out for you. I know they ship internationally with regular frequency. https://www.martinmusicguitar.com/store/new-arrivals/paul-reed-smith-custom-24-08-cobalt.html

    DGT Finish Strength

The DGT doesn’t have the CAB finish like the rest of the core line. It’s just nitro.

What are the lead times for production of PRS Core Custom 24-08 ?

I walked into my favorite local dealer last month and they had a few 24-08’s to try. I picked the one I liked and walked out with it the same day. Buying in stock instruments is the way to avoid disappointment on many levels.

What are the lead times for production of PRS Core Custom 24-08 ?

Exactly. I am always amazed when I see folks complain about wait times for a guitar that is readily available. Just go to another dealer.

What are the lead times for production of PRS Core Custom 24-08 ?

There were plenty of Fiores available at launch. Maybe not one slotted for your preferred dealer, but there was no lasting shortage of ready stock in the broader market.

Why doesn't PRS make 24-fret versions of the Studio and 509?

His opinion evolved to favor more classic golden era tones.

Why doesn't PRS make 24-fret versions of the Studio and 509?

Years ago at a clinic I heard Paul state that the only reason he keeps the Custom 24 in the lineup is market demand. Otherwise he would have dropped it as he prefers 22 fret necks. That being said, I love my Custom 24 and am glad he was convinced to keep it around.
