    Maple Neck with Ebony Fingerboard, really short sustain

    My Custom 24 is a Limited Edition with specs same as your PRS, mahogany body, quilted maple cap, flame maple neck (not roasted) with ebony fretboard and I haven't noticed any sustain issues, I have it 2 years now. The top on your PRS is to die for!

    What was your very first PRS...??

    My first PRS was an Elephant Gray S2 Custom 24 30th Anniversary, bought it in 2014, still have it. I am not a big fan of Pattern Regular necks, but there is something special about the way this guitar sounds and plays. And that's how my love for PRS guitars started.
