This has piqued my curiosity in the past as well, and my searches never yielded any discernable results.
Hoping somebody here can post some pictures showing differences between the two!
So strange....I've had this exact same issue before on a couple of my Custom 24's (my 2012 and my 35th Anniversary). Rolling the volume to zero and there'd still be signal passing through to the amp.
Oddly for me, at first, it was intermittent....only happening in a specific venue...
Yeah, I didn't think the new travel cases were in any way related to this thread at all, I just happened to "resurrect" it while the thread about the new travel cases popped up. My inquiry in this thread is purely about the "new" Core cases the OP had mentioned a few months back, unrelated to...
Right, I'm curious about this thread's original topic. I've seen the thread about the new molded cases as well, which look great to me.
But I'm still curious if this was a random occurrence with this particular case, or if somebody else has had a similar experience as the OP.
Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that, and sorry to bring back the memory. I was hoping there was a happier ending to that whole catastrophe.
You're music room still looks great though...looks like a wonderful place to sit and create music in.
Music room looks beautiful!
Seeing this pic, though, reminded me...anything ever come from the "Disaster!" thread? Seeing that brick wall reminded me and I was curious if you were able to ever get anything worked out...be it through PRS or a different luthier.
Sorry if that derails the thread...

Lots and lots of stuff off about this guitar, and this is about the only photo...
Yeah, posting pics here is kinda wonky.
You’ll need a hosting site first…Imgur is what I use. It’s free and super easy to upload your pics there.
Once you have them posted up on the hosting site, you open the photo, right-click the image and select “Copy Image Address”. Then, come back here...
All piezo components are supplied to PRS pre-assembled…the bridges, saddles, boards, cabling is all done by LR Baggs. That’s why PRS doesn’t sell those components separately…I can easily see why specifically those components aren’t available through the PRS spare parts shop. An in-house...
I'm not familiar with Virtuoso polish, but I do use this stuff which has worked great for all of my PRS guitars (poly and nitro finished).

Really basic, here....I start with the #1 polish, move to #2, and then finish with the #1 again. I've achieved...
I'd start with the less abrasive stuff just to see...but from the picture, it looks like its going to require both. Also, being right behind the bridge like that, it's going to be tough to get in there and get even hand movement without bumping into the bridge.
If you feel confident enough...
