Question, are you using the stock saddles? I don't know if the DGT SE has the same kind you find on other trem equipped SEs, but I never had great intonation with them. I had a similar issue on my 35th. It cost me, but moving to mannmade saddles made all my intonation problems disappear.

Nah, I hate heights. I have a hard time with ladders too. I think part of that is because I was coerced into painting an entire hardware store on a 15ft extension ladder in the middle of the night.

It would probably be ok, so long as you keep the coat thin. Try it on a sample first tho or course. I will be trying this, but I need to find the right stuff. Oh yeah, you may wanna use spar urethane. Holds up best against bad weather factors.

Yeah, they always get stuck in those steel blocks. What you do is when you change strings, cut a piece of the low E off and shove it into the holes where the strings get stuck. That'll get em out.
