One of the things I came to realize over the years...and this may just be true for me...is that I'm not paying any attention to the looks of the guitar while I'm playing. So I can't say I won't play a guitar because of it's looks. Except maybe for the heavily quilted guitars. Looking at those...

Yes, I used to hate them based on nothing. But then I played a SE Silver Sky and liked it. And then I played a S2 McCarty 10th Anniversary and fell in love with it. I'm in a discussion on Reddit where I said "I used to hate PRS, but then I played one, and now I have two." Someone with their own...

I don't know if it's just you. I really like plain wood grain with a transparent-ish satin finish. I'm not a fan of the really fancy quilts in any case.

Years ago, when Steel Wheels came out, a friend of mine insisted on calling Steel Wheelchairs.

that's quite nice-looking. For some reason, the McCarty's look better to me than any other PRS.
