Local store has been better than that. Schecter city these days. Of course they've a huge selection of Fenders these days and I can remember when those were hard to find at a GC. I guess it is a matter of who they've paid recently.
They recognized my cat and will have nothing to do with me. Apparently it is beyond their powers.
No, the specific concern is the type of pickup. What material the flatware at the top is made out of and how it should be cleaned; if anything can seep in around it that I should worry about, etc...
So, I saw the cat sitting on my PRS S2 Vela. What I didn't see was the cat vomiting on it. So what is the best way to clean a type d pickup? I'd rather not make things worse.
Posts with non PRS branded guitars go away. That statement is based on your post and the thread I posted which, if I remember correctly, was commenting on whether I should buy a Vela or a Fender something or other.
(I bought the Vela. Lovely instrument.)
Aside from longevity I've noticed no difference between cheap cables and quality cables. Other than patch cables. Cheap patch cables are insanely cheap.
You'll need to widen the nut for 10s. Mine (both the se245 and se santana) bound with the stock 9s without oodles of lube in the nut. (To be fair graphite from a pencil worked for this.) I just replaced the nut with a graphtech nut for $12 plus the cost of a drop of super glue.
You can buy...
I can't say as I've never owned a tele. But I did buy the vela in part to sate my desire for a telecaster. Not sure which demo I was watching that made me think that, tho. It was on you tube... (Would have been nice if GC got more than 2 in the entire area before I bought one.)
Oh, probably...
