One pickup that does this exact thing very well is the DiMarzio Bluesbucker, model DP163. I have one in the neck position of my S2 Standard 24 with the screws facing the bridge. I did that because I use the inside coils when split. The volume drop vs. both coils is minimal and the tone is excellent.

Likely by acquiring and trying and not selling off immediately - looks almost like my spare pickup boxes :). Out of the ones mentioned, the Wolfetone Marshallhead bridge will likely be a lot brighter than any of the other bridge pickups .

I agree it's a great pedal. Love the mix control and the added highs control. Also love the fact that it does not distort with humbuckers.

Yes that should work as the FF tunes I heard all had a guitar tone that was edgy but had a warm midrange. Warm midrange is a signature trait of the Crawler. Edginess not so much - that would have to come from the guitar and amp.
