The scale being 625mm and what the old Les Pauls were is cool. I like the 594 over the standard McCarty because of the control layout. The toggle belongs up near the neck ;)

The SEs are excellent guitars. The S2s are incredible value American Made guitars. The S2s are made from less pieces of wood, usually a plus. Biggest difference I've seen between the S2 and the SE is the fretwork and the frets themselves. The tops are usually nicer on SE models as its a veneer...

May still do a Mannmade Trem, and add pointers to the SE. But great player, neck very similar to the core. Not quite the same resonance and tone, but close enough for a backup and for shady bar gigs lol

A few changes to make it more mine. The Tremonti Pickups are great but I put the same DiMarzios that are in my other Tremonti and my Les Paul. Plus double creams are awesome
