Interesting. Are they spaced for a Floyd? As mine is 25" scale, are these pickups bright or dark sounding?

Great info. Based on that I'm leaning more towards the antiquities. The things I don't like about the stock pickups is the modern sound and the high output of the bridge. The neck pickup I can live with. Is there any difference in clarity in the these?

I will check out the 59/09 combo. SD antiquities may also be an option.

This is for live use with a band. The band I use this for, I play with quite a lot of gain. In my other bands, I play a stratocaster or telecaster, but that don't work as well for the chunky riffing that this calls for. I play as loudly as I need to, to be heard over a loud drummer. :)

Digging up this old thread as I'm considering a pickup upgrade on my SE Floyd too. If there's any further info or experience, I'd gladly hear it. Thanks

Hmm, like I said, the arm I got doesn't seem to screw in. It was just a standard Floyd copy.

I wonder if somone could tell me what size the trem arm is on this model? The arm is a bit smaller and sits lower than I'm used to and wanted to try some different ones. I've tried a metric arm but it is slightly too big to fit in (otherwise it would've been perfect). Recommendations of...

The SD Jazz neck PU is quite bright, so I wouldn't advise that. And to be honest, I've alway thought of it as being quite sterile.
